I am returned to Pittsburgh and CMU! My dad and I drove in on Wed. (well, he drove and made it in 9 1/2 hours to Monroeville. he crazy). I moved in yesterday, and I have most of my crap unpacked and put away where I want it. Hopefully will finish that up today, more than likely including a trip to Target (*bats eyes and smiles sweetly at people with cars*), and then classes start on Monday. *scared* veryveryvery nervous for this semester, but I am determined to do well, and I will make the sacrifices necessary without relinquishing my life/sanity.
Last night was full of awesome. It's such a great feeling to be back around people that adore me as much as I adore them. I went to dinner with Alan, then we went to the KGB scavenger hunt. Soooo fun. I didn't actually participate, but rather hung out in Breed Hall with the judges and various other non-playing people. And upon walking up to the scavenger hunt, got jumped on by several people I missed. Got jumped on by more different people I missed as they walked into Breed Hall over the course of the night, additionally, there was much loud and high-pitched squeeing when Psyfe walked into the room, in which I participated :)
somewhere in there, the evening was made more amazing by the appearance of my boyfriend ^-^ sooooooooooooooo glad to be done with that long distance bullshit. It was unpleasant. No more having to miss him because he's too far away. No more disappointment because the closest I can get to him still has a phone or internet between us. It just put so much strain on both of us, and while we did get through it, I'm fairly certain we weren't meant to do long distance. So, I am beyond happy to have that out of the way and have him in the same zip code once again ^-^
good times, all in all. I'm happy to be back.

drama has been dealt with! I didn't even initiate it, though I wanted to, it was sort of brought to me, but it was such a feeling of relief. A weight was lifted such that I didn't know quite how to keep myself from jumping up and down.
of course there are details that still need to be discussed, and small finalizations to the fixedness of the drama, but for the most part, it's like someone finally waved a magic wand to say *poof* your life can revert to the happier state that it was before this. I can't get over this feeling, it's just so dizzying to know things are not going to stay sad. ^-^ *happy*.
in other news, I will hopefully be getting a new phone today. Being that it is a free upgrade in spite of my having lost mine, I believe I will be able to retain my number. I will continue to keep people posted. Continue to help me rebuild my phonebook, I need it! :-)

I lost my phone at Rocky this past weekend. Apparently someone found it. When my mother called, not knowing I'd lost it, some man answered saying that he found it on the ground in Oakmont. She tried calling him back, to no avail. So, we know someone picked it up, but they were too fucking useless to tell us anything about how to retrieve it. I've left my name with the Oaks jic, but I think it's gone. With this shithead moron who answers the phone without intention of helping return it. If you're gonna steal a phone, why the fuck would you answer it??? Esp. when the caller ID says 'Mom'?!?!?!?! Like, hey I stole your kid's phone, nyahnyahnyah. WTF???
Aaaaanyway, point of this story is that, fortunately, I am due for a free upgrade in my phone anyway. And Verizon has shut off my other one, so that's taken care of. But I will be acquiring a new phone. Same number, I presume, but I will let people know if it happens to be otherwise. But, yeah, email me, IM me, whatever, if you think you might be in my phonebook. If we've ever exchanged numbers, if we've spoken over the phone, whatever. I would like to be able to rebuild my phonebook as much as possible, so if I had your number, I'd like it again (unless, of course, you don't want to talk to me, in which case...well, um...I'm sure I was going somewhere with this, I just don't know where). Yeah. That is all.

I'm rather confused about things. I've started referring to something as, I s'pose what I thought I wanted it to be eventually, and what I have apparently accepted it to be or become, but it occurs to me that I'm not entirely sure that it *is* what I want. *sigh* Does this even make sense?

And thus I complete 20 years of my life. Two whole decades are gone, so I figured I'd be reflective, or whatever. However, it's still only 8 in the morning, so reflective will have to wait until a later time.
in other news, if anyone knows wtf is going on for New Year's, lemme know? 'Cuz it's been warming up, so going into First Night? Yay or nay? Well, I want to, 'cuz Ally's never seen it. Also, any of y'all CMU-type people who live in this crazy state, meet up at First Night, yes? Again, lemme know.
Well, picking up Ally and Jordan around 3ish, then a little who the hell knows what, then Chanukah candles, then dinner, then I dunno. Will figure it out. Yay! I'm old!
